The Student Resource Building (SRB) was opened on February 14, 2007 after UCSB students voted to approve a fee to fund the construction and operation of the building. The building continues to be a hub for student activity and a popular study space on campus. The SRB contains cultural resource centers, conference rooms, a multipurpose room, and a multitude of departments. Every year, the SRB serves as the home for many popular events such as the winter involvement fair, dog therapy day, and Dia de Los Muertos, as well as programming from campus organizations.
